I remember a time, when Keoni was 6 months old and extremely miserable with
an ear infection, Barb came over to visit. She needed her "baby time" with
Keoni, even though he was fussy and cranky with pain.
She didn't care.
She scooped him out of my arms and held him close and rocked, and rocked and
rocked. After a few minutes of rocking and cuddling, Keoni fell fast asleep
in her arms.
I've admired Barb for her sense of fun, her ability to laugh at herself and
see the bright side of every situation. But most of all, I admire Barb for
her incredible patience and love she showed to everyone.
I'll miss you Barb...
